Courtney started her musical journey when she was 4 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music at Hong Kong Baptist University where she trained as a piano teacher and collaborative pianist. She obtained the ABRSM Grade 8 piano certification when she was 12. She also holds ABRSM Grade 8 in violin and flute.
 
Courtney is a dynamic and creative piano educator who also actively performs as a collaborative pianist. With over 6 years of piano teaching experience, she employs personalised strategies that cater to learners of all levels, ages and personalities. Courtney's extensive background in piano education, which include substantial teaching hours in Hong Kong, has developed her skills in delivering impactful and professional instruction. Through her approachable and innovative teaching style, she instils her students with both enthusiasm and confidence in music playing. 
 
Courtney is excited to engage with her students and work with them to learn about piano performance and musical theory in a joyful way, helping students to achieve greater success and happiness on their musical journey!
